Another reason The Age is for fools

Ross Gittins is economics editor at The Age, and the one thing he surely fails to grasp is basic economics.

Brookesnews has the details of his latest nonsense. Gittins has his knickers in a twist believing that humans are going to run out of resources and starve to death because of China's economic growth.

He fails to take into account that the supply of resources is hardly constant. Its like going back 1000 years when the world's population was a few million humans, and forecasting doom and gloom because there won't be enough food (at current production levels mind you) for future generations.
